For our second installment of WOW+FLUTTER for February, we welcome our very special guest RICKEE WHOOP WHOOP all the way from the spiritual home of tech-house, Croydon, England for a Plank Records night.
Rickee is one of the cornerstones of the London underground party scene as a DJ, producer, and party organizer. Along with Terry Francis' WIGGLE events, Rickee's infamous party WHOOP WHOOP has become THE premier tech-house parties in London - boasting the cream of the crop of the London scene as residents including Dave Mothersole, Richard Grey, and Bob DeRosa.
As a DJ, Rickee's traveled the world over presenting the gospel of tech-house - Australia, Croatia, Costa Rica, Miami, New York, and points in between.
His productions have been released on Matthew 'Bushwacka!' B's breakbeat label Plank and the Stratospheric label (a collaboration with breaks dons Precision Cuts) and have been featured on compilations such as Tayo's Dread At The Controls edition of the Y4K series and Lee Burridge's recent Global Underground's 24/7.
