We know that the photo gallery has issues. We intend to look at the way it looks / works in the future.

Have you tried using other browsers? With IE the gallery seems to work like shit, but in firefox it seems to fly/work ok.

Um. i'm seeing something totally different than you. So far only one album is empty (which you could change if you wanted to).

Are you on a dialup connection by any chance?

I'm on IE & most are blank most of the time for me too (not empty, but no pics show up)

the board seems to be having a real problem delivering images to IE.

It's not that the galleries are "empty"... it's that the pictures aren't loading, so that when the gallery page loads, in addition to the DHTML being blown out most of the time, the cover image for 3/4 of the galleries doesn't appear.

I'll try to get a screenshot of this...

(this image is 2 min + after page visit to /gallery on IE 6.0 at my office on a fast connection)

at home the whole page loads in 3 seconds on Firefox.

IE + XP = mega wicked pissah fast at my house.

IE + OSX = mega wicked pissah slow at my office (including the gallery not loading and DHTML spontaneously combusting). Since I've gone the Safari route, all has been right in my rhythmism world.

Yep--shit flies using IE and XP, gallery loads as quickly as a normal page, etc.; this has been true since day one. I'll check which version I'm using when I get home tonight.

Well, I don't know if you mods did anything, but I went & dowloaded all cuureny critical windows updates & everything is working fine now.

I also posted this in the rhythm:

We suspect the issue is with user browsers and setups rather than the gallery.

Gallery works well (from what we hear and observe) in Safari and Firefox and most problems are with users of IE.

We will keep you updated. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! that users of IE make sure they have the LATEST WINDOWS UPDATES and also try installing latest IE version to see if it fixes the problem. Please let me know if it does.

Okay. I'm running Windows XP, Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 1.

I'm browsing with IE 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633. Updates have been installed. Cable modem.

Works absolutely fine for me and always has (including DHTML & photo galleries).

Regardless, Firefox here I come. :D
