New York, NY-September 23, 2004 - Gotham Grooves, one of America's leading techno labels, and DJ Becka of NYC have teamed up with Livesets.com of Holland, to bring you the premier of "Gotham City Radio." Airing every Saturday from 12:00 - 15:00 (GMT -5 or 12:00pm-3:00pm New York time, 5-8pm Holland time) the show will feature international and local guest dj's and performances, alongside Becka's weekly tune selections. According to the show host, DJ Becka "I‚m very excited to have this opportunity to host a show with one of Europe's premier websites for electronic music, and to partner up with Gotham Grooves. This will not only give the world a chance to hear some of their favorite techno artists before they head out for a night of clubbing or while they are hanging out in their house, but it will also expose them to undiscovered talent from right in their own backyard."
The first show will start out strong with special guest Joris Voorn (Rejected, Sino). Other confirmed guests include Tim Xavier (773, Blueline, Contaminated), Frank Kvitta (Insane Records, Kne‚Deep), and Agent Orange (Gotham Grooves, Terminal M). The show will also feature a half-hour segment dedicated to airing new releases from various labels.
