I found this in my travels on the road two w/ends ago and listened for a bit again last night. It's on CD 101.9 on Saturday nights from 11 pm - 1 am.

Hosted by d.j. Rafe Gomez, The Groove Boutique™ combines the world’s most exciting rhythmic jazz genres, including:

•> 70s soul jazz
•> 80s jazz-funk
•> 90s acid jazz
•> Today’s electrojazz, house jazz, and uptempo smooth jazz

The result is an exhilarating listening experience that melds vibrant jazz musicianship with the funky thump of the dancefloor.

It’s smooth jazz that jams.
It’s smooth jazz that moves.
It’s smooth jazz that grooves.
It’s The Groove Boutique™.

If you like music, and at least a few of you's here do, you'll like this. You can download all the dude's on the air sets. I would recommend listening to this guy's mixes while smoking a bowl and chillin' at home and/or for chillin' on shrooms with a partner of your choice. NEVER consume anything illegal and then get behind the wheel of a car though, that'd be bad.

enjoy!

I'll give that one a whirl. After you psted this, I checked some of the tracklists and notice he had a multiball track on there. I saw these guys perform in Sydney a few years ago - they are one of the most impressive groups I have ever seen. Live dance/jazz/funk performed on bass, keys and drums (the drummer has an array of machines and effects he uses to set the backbeat too).

I can't get their weblink to open but they are certainly worth checking out. I'm gonna contact them and see if they have any plans to come to the states.

I liked 11 better! still both are very good. Has anyone heard of DJ Inc.?? I have but don't remember from where. One of his tunes were played on the air the other night when I first heard it.

step 1 - click on link

step 2 - click on "sounds" (top of page)

step 3 - you have a choice of eleven different mixes. click on one of them.

step 4 - a little pop up menu will appear with the set list and and another link that reads, "click to jam". click that.

step 5 - listen to music
