Founded in 1987 by two Chicago club kids as the soundtrack to an art film they were working on, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult transmuted into one of rock’s most influential and beloved alternative industrial acts. Playing up the B-movie theme, Thrill Kill Kult incorporated the use of horror film imagery and bizarre vocal samples within a unique mixture of electro-glam-punk-funk-disco-rock-lounge music. Combined with an over the top stageshow full of glitz, glam, tease and sleaze with a revolving cast of musicians, performance artist, fire-breathers and their own Russ Meyer-esque back-up group of voluptous vixens.

The concept landed them a recording deal with Chicago’s infamous industrial-dance label Wax Trax! Records, which released the first of TKK’s eight albums in 1988. It introduced the world to TKK’s unusual style of blending dance rhythms, distorted vocals and sampled movie dialogue, to create a sound that would become a signature trademark for the band in years to come.

Fully sanctioned by the band with all of the original master tapes, My Life Remixed teams all the TKK classics, “Sex On Wheels”, “Days of Swine & Roses”, “Kooler Than Jesus” and others with some of dance music’s hottest up-and-coming producers, including NYC faves Astro&Glyde (Bedrock), Texas's own son D:Fuse (Perfecto), Bryan Zentz (Intec), Grayarea (Hope), Freakus, Tommie Sunshine (Felix Da Housecat), and more!
