godsinstrument(fist pump mix) (http://newsense-nyc.com/godsinstrument.mp3)
I made this track as a joke but I think it turned out pretty good , it's very nyc ... Its by no means complete & the dynamics suck , it needs to be tweaked & eq'd alot better then it is but you'll get the idea ...
.. if ya dig , peep some other remixes I'm working on ...

aside from the issues you mentioned, i like it a lot. very vic calderone big room type stuff.
i dont care for the stutter at 4:18 though and i wonder of the bleepy synth thing that runs through it could be a little less busy, if that makes sense. there's a lot of changes, so the track could probably be a bit longer if you wanted the groove t ride a bit more (though that could be a different mix)
very good though, i'd like to hear the finished product

I really like the feel of the track the overall vibe is hot.1 thing you should try is compressing the kick to make it tighter sounding and also compress the bass to even it out some. Your vocals could use some clever filtering or eqing.you highs seems extremely high.also the percusion you have in the intro could use a little tweaking.I would love to work on a track with you check out A tune I did for ARISTA tell me what you think http://www.soundclick.com/bands/4/deceptic0nmusic.htm .I am master when it comes to mixing a track.I studied engoineeriing and production in school so I can help you out in that department tech you a little and I cn also give you a copy of the manual they gave me that help me in my mixing.

overall fun stuff. although i didn't care for the stuttering much either. if you plan on shopping these after they are done don't forget to give credit to for vocal snips on trck 2 i believe...the wilson santos acapella used is a bit too un-tweaked to go unmentioned.
good luck

yea no doubt! ... thanks for the feedback so far everyone!
bare in mind that I have no training in production &/or sound engineering .. I'm teaching myself ... for software I'm using reason & live, hardware I'm using a microkorg synth & waldorf rack attack drum/perc synth ... all these tracks are done in audio cause i don't have a midi sequencer ...
steelwheelking pm me your cell# , (i lost it when nb was shut down)... I peeped that kelis remix you did, I like it! The production & sound quality is tight! We should definitely get together & lay some shit down ... especially since we live so close to each other ...

Very nice!!!!
I actually like the stutter. :) I'd be interested in a "non-fist pump" mix if you ever do one. ;)
The standout here for me is "Feeling". Very nice stuff.

cool ... yea i'm acually trying to get that "feeling" track bootlegged ... its basically jus a mash-up between a chris lum & circulation track with a couple extra bells & whistles i threw in ... feel free to play it out , if you'd like :) ... chris lum vs. circulation - feeling cerise (d.r.a.l bootleg mix)

1st i think the vocal comes in to early, make the track a little more dj freindly. for the length of the track they are to many breakdowns. you want people to dance to it not stop and start so many times. for this arrangement it should be in the 9 min range. make it more tracky so it alittle less dramatic ,let people get into the groove and i feel the big snyth sound is way to commerical. as far as the mix down I can't tell because of the shitty speakers and it is a mp3. just some feedback.

Word, that synth is the best part of the track imo
I also think the begining needs to be more DJ friendly
Nice vibes overall

its tight for what it is mang. like i'd get down to it if i was drunk at hunka bunka. only thing is it seems like 2 separate tracks. in some ways the meat of the track seems separate from the intro/outro

good shit pep...for that type of music. i can see it now.. all the juiciees and plastic dolls in the hamptons pumping their fists along with it. i know some of the bigger dj's in that circle and they would totally play it. keep a copy on ya and gimme it next time i see you.
where'd ya get that accapella by the way? soul penetrating beats;)

Yo Pep.... good stuff production-wise. Definitely not my cup of tea, but for the feeling and crowd your going for I think you're right on.
As for the stutter and synth, that shit is perfect for the fist pumping crackheads! I definitely see a few of them hurting their elbows when that shit drops. Might want to add a disclaimer once it's released stating you are not responsible for any injuries due to over pumping.
With some good mastering I think you'll have a winner. Especially with the Jersey Shore massive.
