what does tronik mean exactly?

i've noticed a lot of soulseek tracks are labeled tronik, but i have not exactly figured out what that means.. i thought it was a certain style of music, but not sure...

tronik is an mp3 ripping group. they get tracks, rip them, and share them on ftp and file networks. BOSS and 2DB are 2 other common ones.


basically they're proliferating the scene killing by taking unreleased stuff and making it available for free rather than for purchase
