DARREN ROACH (Studiotek Records,Intergroove, UK)
British National Darren has been DJ’ing since the tender age of 7, yes seven years young. Sitting in front of a retro record player at family parties, playing singles that his parents both Music heads them selves, had bought for him through his minor years. Entranced by the music, Darren had his first taste of being able to make people dance through the selection and power of music. Raving at the age of 13, at some of the first acid house parties & illegal raves in the U.K around 87/88 Darren witnessed the Amazing energy of music, the diversity of People and a feeling that inspired Darren to pursue a career as a DJ.
At 15 he started his career in London, playing all of the major clubs at the time including the Ministry of sound, Club UK, the Gardening club, Shaftsbury’s, Limelight’s the Fridge, the vox etc. quickly gaining recognition as one of the most technically advanced Djs at such a young age in the late eighties early nineties house/acid house scene.
A couple of years later at 17 he had the opportunity to spread his wings to Spain where he took the crowds of Madrid, Barcelona & the Balearic islands to another dimension with his fresh individual mix of house and tech house.
After hour parties & big events were a main source for Darren’s musical output. Captivating a Beautiful collection of experiences, from which he embraced and most importantly learnt from! Through the next nine years Darren had the pleasure of playing and supporting some of the worlds leading underground DJS and live acts such as Carl Cox, Derek May, Juan Atkins, Kevin Sanderson, Masters at work, Front 242, Carl Craig live, and a whole list of Crazy Nutters they call Djs.

Darren has always looked for sounds that can only be described as different!!! But, this is where the special talents of Darren really come into play, by bringing in subliminal mixes of different styles and elements based around house, keeping crowds on their feet, and good feelings inside. Originality, Versatility & Quality music is the key to
Da Roach’s success.Next on Darren’s agenda is Electronic Body Movement (E.B.M) a new special night starting in London soon – watch this space!!!!
JB (Modern Electronic Soul Records [MES], UK)
One of the unsung heroes of underground dance culture in the UK, JB is the oil that keeps the party machine rocking in London and beyond. The tech-house stalwart is resident at Jaded, at The Egg, the after-hours
that has revolutionised Sunday clubbing in London. A regular at New York’s ubercool Sullivan Room, JB’s skills behind the decks have also taken him from Ibiza to Eastern Europe and to the UK’s major festivals, including Glastonbury and Global Gathering. An instrumental part of the Eukatech family, he helped the label pull off last summer’s wicked woodland rave in West London. Some said it couldn’t be done… and JB proved them wrong.
“With a background steeped in the free rave era, JB is just as pivotal to the party scene of the here and now.” Lesley Wright, Editor, DJmag
JB plans to breathe new life into his dance labels - Dance Wicked (soulful house) and MES Records (deep through tech-house) - this summer. Look out for Blaze single ‘How Deep Is Your Love’, remixed by Azad & the Stir15 crew, tipped to be a summer smash on Dance Wicked. And be sure to check the ‘Chris Udoh EP’ (out Oct 2005) and ‘100 Hz EP’ (Nov 2005) for freakoid deep tech floor shaking action on MES. On the production front, JB & Veronski’s mix of Tim Sheridan & Smokin’ Jo’s ‘Nastydirtysexmusic’ has been carving up dancefloors - prompting
Tim Sheridan to rate it better than the original!
“I was pleasantly surprised to find JB a wonderfully deep and driving spinner of wax. This led to a most welcome remix that I consider my favourite ever done to my material. He’s a real swell fella too…” Tim Sheridan, Nastydirtysexmusic
The non-stop party machine has yet another card to play in coming months. Together with old mate and DJ chum Darren Roach, JB will be launching new label and club Electronicbodymovement in October. Both label and club - which will invade The Egg on monthly/weekly Friday/Sat nights - will be tuned into “the best electronic music with an unexpected twist”.
“Some people say I play electro, others techno or tech-house,” says JB. “Whatever you wanna call it, I know good music and I just wanna play great music that makes people dance like crazy.”
DJ FAME (SimplyBangin.com, TopDJBookings.com, TouchClothing.com)
Amos Damon (aka DJ Fame) has had a long passion for music. As far back as elementary school he has been actively involved as a member of the school band, chorus and keyboard club. Quickly impressing his musical
instructors with his natural ability to read, write, and play music, Amos excelled and began to find ways to keep music in his life. At age 14, he was first introduced to electronic dance music and shortly after began to take notice of DJs. He was interested in their technical abilities, but more importantly in their ability to control the crowd.
His desire to learn the craft came to fruition with the birth of “DJ Fame.”
The past decade has seen Fame continue his growth as a performer, rocking clubs and parties the world over with his unique blend of hard, funky, tech-house combined with cuts, scratches and turntable tricks. From his residency at New York’s renowned Sullivan Room, to guest sets all over North America (San Francisco, Miami, and Toronto) and Europe (Ghent, Belgium and more recently Moscow), DJ Fame is truly a veteran in a young bucks clothing.
Only 25 years old, DJ Fame displays energy, stage presence and an air of confidence that separates him from the crowd and makes him one of the hottest young talents on the scene.
JAMES MILLER JUNIOR (SimplyBangin.com, TouchClothing.com)
Undoubtedly, James is one of the most gratifying DJs to watch. Fully appreciating the magical power behind house music, JMJ consistently pumps it's innate feeling of celebration and joy into the rave and club patrons all over the US and Canada. With a super magnetic personality and stage presence, screaming skills behind the steel, and a 2-die-4 track selection, the people's man James Miller Junior consistently delivers block rocking sets of blistering funky house music. With a signature style of house that's laced with screaming synths, fluctuating filters, pounding basslines all splashed with funk-a-delic, can-you-feel-it, heart-of-chicago-disco, there's no wonder why no one
sits down during his sets. Seamlessly fusing turntable tactics that would turn the heads of even the most jaded ravers, energized showmanship that allows for a connection with his audience that the most experienced performer would kill for, and dropping 25-30 records an hour, also validates JMJ’s' abilities to mesmerize his audience.
Stomp your feet and raise your hands, as the confetti falls from heaven and this crowd pleaser plants a smile on everyone's face - and an imprint on our house loving hearts.
With appearances at clubs like Snakepit(Denver) Tunnel(DC), Level(South Beach), Shelter(NYC), Comfort Zone(Toronto), Electra(NH), Ushuai(Maine), Asylum(Springfield) and massive rave events all over the US and Canada, (& even a performance @ the world reknown Bay Side Expo Center in Boston), James has solidified his fan base, from a structure of pure adoration for underground rave culture, dance music, and his magnetic personality.
