Check this guy out. His production is the finest techno fused Drum and Bass I've heard. Love it.
Listen to these! Especially Mind Bombing (http://www.breakbeat.co.uk/listen/search.asp?q=Raiden&show=less)

I was VERY heavy into D&B
eight years ago..Still drift
in and out of the mood for
some breakbeats from time
to time but in all honesty
I prefer it in smaller
dozes these days (Unless

Yeah, I'm really liking the "techno-ier" stuff in DnB at the moment. The more mainstream stuff has gone all jump-up wobble bass bollocks. I'm not a fan of Twisted Individual (I grew out of that) or Hazard or Clipz or any of the bouncy Clownstep (that word makes me shudder) that's coming out.
All about the dark, techy and powerful intricate beats:
Teebee
John B
Universal Project
Technical Itch
Dylan
Raiden
Silent Witness
Ancronix
Hidden
Kryptic Minds
Klute
Muffler
etc etc

Definitely loving raiden and klute at the moment; haven't really gotten a chance to listen to much else of this genre. Techno makes everything better, though, so I'm all for these guys getting more exposure. :D
pt - ever heard of The Detroit Elevator Company? Got a recommendation for these guys (this guy? girl? god knows) today, but haven't been able to find them on slsk.
