a passport is a great idea and the best thing to have, but it's not required if you are a US citizen.

Visas and Travel Documents

General

Visas are not required for U.S. citizens entering Canada from the U.S. You will, however, need:

(1) proof of your U.S. citizenship such as your U.S. passport (For information on obtaining a U.S. passport, check with one of the regional passport agencies located throughout the U.S.) or certified copy of your birth certificate issued by the city, county or state in the U.S. where you were born. If you are a naturalized U.S. citizen and do not have a passport, you should travel with your naturalization certificate. A driver’s license or Social Security card is NOT valid proof of citizenship.

(2) photo identification, such as a current, valid driver’s license.

All U.S. citizens entering Canada from a third country must have a valid passport.

Alien permanent residents of the U.S. must present their Alien Registration Card, commonly called a “Green Card.”

If you are a dual U.S./Canadian citizen you should always present yourself as a Canadian citizen when entering Canada. However, U.S. citizens should use their U.S. passports when entering or leaving the United States."

everyone should have a passport. you never know when a great opportunity might pop up on short notice.

I've gone with them for 3 trips to Spain and never had a problem. I prefer doing the trip as a direct flight and not a layover in another European airport (and other than Delta, that's the only airline that offers non-stop). The sooner I can get to my hotel room to sleep off the jetlag, the better.

There are worse airlines...Air Europa, Olympic Air. Alitalia was only slightly better.

WMC is sooooooo 2000. But that's not the point.

I happen to love Ibiza so much and I don't care if it's passe.
I'm not going to party my ass off this time, I'm going to chill a lot more than I used to. Smaller daytime parties are where it's at.
(and a healthy dose of some djs that I don't normally get to hear at the larger venues)

I happened to have good luck with them, but 4 (!!) of my friends had their luggage lost either on the way to or back from Ibiza...
The ones that had it lost on the way to Ibiza, got their luggage only after 2 whole days on the island...
Imagine being in Ibiza with nothing to wear, no bathing suit, no nothing, and an airline with abnoxious customer service...

rule #1. In your carry-on, you must pack the following:
1 bathing suit, 1 of your favorite outfits, and a pair of shoes, plus most of your toiletries and medications.

Also, it may pay to sign up for baggage loss and delay insurance from Amex. It's cheap, and they cover you up to a certain amount per person so you can buy new stuff if your baggage is lost or delayed. It really isn't that hard to shop in Ibiza-town for new clothes :)

Anthony's suitcase was delayed once...the airline drove it to the hotel that night.
