DANNY RAMPLING
DJ legend DANNY RAMPLING graces the decks at Avalon. Back in 1987, together in Ibiza with his young DJ pals Paul Oakenfold, Nicky Holloway and Johnny Walker, the foursome were intoxicated by the sounds of Ibiza and brought back the inspiration and energy of the Balearic isle to launch global dance culture in the UK. Thus, the Summer of Love was born and the acid house scene emerged in London. Danny launched the legendary Shoom parties and continued to spread his deep vocal house, garage sounds and tribal grooves across KISS FM and later to go on to UK’s most prominent dance channel BBC’s Radio 1. With a prolific remix career and far-reaching influence on the radio, Danny Rampling is still a player and a legend in his own right. His music has always been an extension of his character and personality and an extension of the spirit that goes out to the people creating an elevated vibe on the dancefloor. Energizing and spiritual, the music is a party soundtrack.
