Hell Yeah, dub rocks. I've been listening to a lot of Deadbeat's dub as well as The Scientist lately. You should also check out Israel Vibration's dub records if you haven't already.

I own most of the cat. and they put out a CD (Wackies Label) that I have of Roots Raggae.
Top *ish. And! How cool are the 10" they arrive on. Dope ass wax.

Top picks.

Mango Drive.
Music A Feh Rule.
Mystery/Misery.
Ruff Way.

Basically look for these labels:

Rhythm and Sound---new interpritations
Burial Mix---mix of above and below
Wackies---the roots
Main Street Sounds---Dub/Raggae on the deep house tip.
Basic Replay----new and i'm not too familiar with it.
M/Chain Reaction/Basic Channel---let's get electronic with this shit.

all are dsitributed through Hardwax in Berlin.
Most are connected to the Berlin Massive :: Moritz Von Oswald. Stephan (Pole) Becht. Monolake and that whole crew.

On the modern tip, the Different Drummer label is great. Groove Corporation is really excellent. If you ever find yourself in san fran, the Dub Mission crew have been playing this type of stuff for a long time. The one time I went, I was blown away by the music. Anyone know anything like that here in NY?

The old school collection def would not be complete without King Tubby or Uptown Rockers.
