Kicking off '09 with releases on Harthouse and a hand selected track by Jim Rivers for his GU Nubreed installment, Christopher Manik enters the year with an immense amount of momentum. A strong '08 saw a bunch of highly sought after releases, the creation of Chatterbox along with support from heavyweights such as Carl Cox and Paco Osuna. Having spent countless hours composing both originals & remixes approximating in over 50 titles for 2008 alone; Christopher Manik's style leads the pack for the new generation of multi-genre techno producers (written by NSM).

The Life Festival will unite everybody under the power of music. While we’re struggling with turbulent times, an economic meltdown along with an uncertain future, we must celebrate the values of peace, culture, love, unity and respect. The Life Festival will not serve as escape to our problems, but as a way to face them as a community. All of the campus groups and organizations that participate will have a broad platform to stand upon and celebrate their causes. The Life Festival will give everybody, regardless of race, creed, color, background, and religion, a way to celebrate who they really are and bring awareness to global issues.
A stage will be created and set up between the beautiful grounds of the IRC and FAC buildings. Entertainment will be provided throughout the day and night. Some of Oneonta’s favorite bands, singer/songwriters, ensembles, and entertainers will be invited to join.
