His records are already staples in the bags of top DJs throughout the world. And now with his stunning new album “Light of Day”, it’s certain that Fred Everything will be the next superstar to emerge from the house music underground.

Working from his home base in Montreal, Fred Everything has steadily become one of the most in-demand DJs, producers and remixers in the dance music scene, gracing the turntables of the world’s finest clubs and recording for a slew of top dance labels. His sound is defined by its sophistication: a smooth, soulful vibe that incorporates Jazz, dub and R&B influences into a bumping, sultry dancefloor mix. Fred’s enthusiasm for his music is infectious, and he always manages to energize his crowd.

Already named “the best house album of 2004” by England’s IDJ Magazine, “Light of Day” is a wide-ranging masterpiece that touches on the many shades of Fred’s influences. Mixing vocal tracks with instrumentals, “Light of Day” is an accomplished, lush, musical album with unprecedented depth and texture, truly a luxurious listening experience. Helping Fred along is a dynamic list of collaborators and contributors, including Chicago’s DJ Heather who lends her vocal to the breakout hit “That Thing”, veteran producer Roy Davis Jr. who adds his rich voice to the already-classic “Next to Me”, Canadian Rise Ashen, Scotland’s Joseph Malik and UK jazz-funk quartet the New Mastersounds.

Fred’s “Light of Day” tour will hit the Sullivan Room on Friday, July 23rd. It will be Fred’s second appearance at the venue, New York’s premier nightspot for cutting edge dance music, and it promises to be a memorable night. Fred will be getting the opportunity to work deep into his groove, taking the crowd on a musical journey with an extended three-hour set. Welcoming Fred to the big apple with supporting sets are DJs Kevin Finn and Mike Prieto from Down Deep, and Sleepyface & DJ Boo from Basic NYC. Email djboo@basicnyc.com for guest list.
