Taking off as a DOPE Bi-Weekly by THRESHOLD Sound, ELECTRONIC ROOTS returns to the Warehouse for another night of DOPE music... And this time as a special birthday party for St. & Empress Dirty which only means one thing... a crazy party awaits us!!!

A longstanding collaboration between THRESHOLD Sound's own Elijah Divine and St. Dirty has produced some of the crew's illest performances ever. Celebrating a special birthday set, this performance is guaranteed to bring forth an excellent blend of ragga jungle, borderline breakcore with insane lyrics to match! Yes you will enjoy this! And even more so for St. Dirty's birthday set!

Excited to have another Hartford supporter in our midst, representing the Hartford Party Starters Union, Dirty D has set up a nice name for himself over the past few years by setting up some of the the City's dopest nights at well known spots such as The Warehouse, Sully's, The Wadsworth, Koji & 111 Lounge. Known for bringing a wicked blend of funk, electro and house in his sets, and a dedicated following of reveling dancers, we promise you'll be entertained as we are excited to have this local talent come through and do his thing!

Smashtactics has come up in a few months as one of the mighty players involved in DUBBAGE and new to the THRESHOLD Sound family. Smashtactics a very talented dj indeed has been blending dubstep, downtempo, jungle, and breakcore for sometime at parties around Hartford for a minute! Killing it currently week after week at DUBBAGE, Smashtactics always brings a wicked vibe to all his sets. At Electronic Roots, let Smashtactics show you his smashing flava with some deep dubby subbass pressha that we promise you won't get off the floor dancing to!

Spinning a dope blend of house which includes some of the sickest filtered and disco house you'll ever hear, expect a plethora of dancing fools in full attention for this set! Mizeyesis, one of the co-founders of THRESHOLD Sound shall be opening this night with a blend of downtempo, dubstep, dub, and jungle to get you in the mood. Coming off a great year in 2009 and helping to get more awareness on the underground dance music scene in this City, she has definitely gone on to building a name not only for herself but her crew as well for outstanding and upstanding performances and music. And tonight you can expect the same quality with a set that will definitely set the tone of the night... Can you dig it, because we can!

Yes yes, a tasty sound collection of beats awaits you! And also in celebration of St. & Empress Dirty's birthday we shall have a few pinata's on hand for smashing... We are sorry but on this night the pinata's will have to be harmed in this making. :)
