How Larry Got His Crazy Back!
 

Hey there all you crackers and ravers alike. I hope your all recovered from the Zoo. Even if you didn't go, I'm sure plenty of you were after partying :) I just want to share with you all a little something special I'm doing over the next month. As some of you have heard, I got my hands on the Jet Blue "All You Can Fly" monthly pass. I will be traveling all over the US for the next month and chronicling my journey here.

I will be playing some gigs, but also just going to a few events and cities as a spectator as well. Who can pass up a little beach time before summer is all the way gone?? Not this guy. I have also recently fallen in love with a TV show, Man vs Food that features foodie destinations around the nation; so I will also be visiting some of the places featured on the show and sampling their dishes. Probably no eating competitions for me, but lots of stuffing my face and food porn for the epicureans among you..

Mr Rhythmism himself as been nice enough to set up a nice blog for me to keep track of "Larry" on this wonderful and "ground breaking" journey in life stream style. Isn't technology great? You will be able to keep up with me party by city by city, party by party, dish by dish. The blog will be located in this thread and I will be twittering and facebooking like crazy! Crazy Larry that is...... let the fun begin.

They only have a 30 minute cut off for bags and checkin! I was running late, obv, the J and the air train were taking forever, and I'm mad hung over from the Airdrop kickoff party last night, but thanks to short lines, helpful staff, and a little travel experience I got my bag dropped off, skated through security, and walked right on the plane. The TSA guy was laughing @ me checking my I'd. I had my headphones on jamming to matthias tanzmann from my moon harbour vs mobilee night we did with resolute, and I didn't hear him asking me to look at him straight on. I had to take out the ear buds, and he said, you were doing your best stevie (wonder), and I could see your face. Then he did an impression of me, and he officially won as the coolest tsa guy yet. Ok enough banter, let's rock this long ass flight to the desert and hit the strip...club. Hehe boobies! Jk:)

Were playing the Downtown Cocktail Room tonight, Funktion 1 and all!!! After tearing it up last night @ stay, I can only imagine what the night has in store for us. Its really great to be playing with the guy that pretty much got me started in music, so I can't stress how excited I am. If that wasn't enough, adam collin from boston proper is in town, still up from last night, so I'm def scared to death hehe. Records packed, playlists made, overviews built, let's do this!!! More soon:)

Well, I have to say, if the rest of this tour is half as good as this weekend was, missed flights and all, I am in for a real treat these next few weeks. Yes thats right, I was cutting it a bit close, being super tired and spent from the weekend, and Jet Blue closed the gate about 10 minutes early, so I missed my second flight in 3 days. Opps. Oh well, there is free wireless and lots of booze here, so Ill be ok the next 2 hours waiting for the next one. I have a 5:30am call time tomorrow to be on set, so Im definitely not looking forward to that, but will be good to be on set again.

Yesterday was packed full of adventure, let me tell you. After an amazing noodle breakfast cooked by the infamous DJ Sense, we waited for his friend to come pick us up and head to the strip to check out Emril's new place “Stadium” at the Palazzo. Man what a place, its set up like a stadium with sick couches to chill on and eat delicious looking bar food. Unfortunately they were all reserved, and no tables were avail. The place was not crowded at all, but somehow all the tables were accounted for. They had a 50$ min per person on food an beves there, so maybe best we didn't get one. There had to be 100 tvs in every direction set up in multiple clusters with multiple feeds. A true sports nuts wet dream. They also had luxury boxes you could rent out, with pool tables, private areas, and plenty of couches and TVs. Real sick. The only thing that wasn'tt sick about it was the terrrrrrible service. Pretty much the worst Ive seen anywhere in years. We waited what seemed like forever at en empty bar to get drinks. They were not really expensive, just took forever for no reason. Then forget about getting a waitress to take your order for some food. We stopped one finally, and she simply replied, “ill be right back.” After waiting 30 minutes, we decided to head to South Point instead.

South Point is a bit off the strip, and was frequented with elderly and the B crowd, but we were wasted and wanting to cheap it up, so it was perfect. After many drinks and some Kitten Glitter, (see pic above), we threw a 20 in the Wheel of Fortune slots,and went to town. I ended up doubling my money after an hour or so, and then called it quits to go eat the “Crab Special”. That was 1.5 lbs of king crab legs for 16.95, what a deal. After a bit more slot machine action, drinks and such we decided to head to Hustler Club. Too bad for us it was closed, so we decided to go to Hollywood Video and call it a weekend. After a grip of snacks, red beers, “I love You Man” and the new “Fast and the Furious” we passed out like angels. Both movies were surprisingly good!.

After some In and Out drive though, and a delay at the car return place, I make it to the airport with 40 minutes to spare. Unlucky for me they decided to close the gate early on me, so I had to catch the next flight. So here I am writing my Las Vegas sum up, I hope you enjoy. Cant wait to head to Miami, LA, and DC b2b2b!!!
