It's fun, I went once a while ago. There are a lot of comparable options now, like Little Branch, Death & Co., Pegu Club, & Flat Iron Lounge. I recomend Little Branch as the proper venue for you to weasel your way into the pantaloons of whatever young club starlet you are planning on devastating.

You dont have to be a member. You just need to know their number and call for a reservation. Drinks are very very expensive but very delicious.

My favorite is actually PDT, where you have to go through the phone booth from inside the hot dog place.

I'm thinking more for entertaining wall st pricks, w/ my job picking up the tab on the membership.

I went to Angel's Share on Friday night.. semi-secret spot above Around the Clock on 9th and 3rd. Great cocktails and yummy food too.



btw, when you pour a carbonated beverage into a glass and it froths over the edge, it's called the angel's share. fun little fact.

i was told the original term (loosely the same concept however) referred to the amount of alcohol lost during evaporation, soaking into the barrels, etc. when distilling.
