I thought I'd take the initiative here and start a general thread for buying/selling. If you already have plans for a sticky version Glenn, I guess we'll just let this fade into obscurity.

1 Rane MP22 (the old one, still works great though)
1 CDJ100 that needs work (disc read errors on some CDR media)

I'm trying to get the new Vestax PCV180, very cheap right now on turntablelab.com. It's basically a toned down version of Vestax's PCV275. If anybody has info on this mixer, I'd appreciate it.

There's a slight crackle on the crossfader when you move it quickly (which may just need cleaning). Otherwise, it's solid.

FAQ's

1. WHY DO SOME DJs USE ROTARY DIAL FADERS AS OPPOSED TO SLIDE FADERS?
Many house music DJs, particularly those who play the New York style, prefer the rotary faders due to the precise level settings that result in a more natural feel to each beatmix. These DJs do not use the crossfader during every mix, but shape the sound through the input levels. The rotary faders allow for smoother blending of vocals during a mix, as the left to right motion of using two rotary faders is far more natural than the up and down movement of two standard faders.

2. WHAT CAN I DO TO BOOST THE MID RANGE FREQUENCIES?
The mid range can be boosted by reducing the bass and treble controls and boosting the input gain. The PMC-46MK2 was designed with space in mind, and the 24dB cut range of the bass and treble frequencies will ensure that the desired mid range effect can be obtained.

3. DOES THE PMC-46MK2 SHARE A LOT OF THE SAME COMPONENTS AS THE PMC-400?
Yes, apart from the differences in input fader design, they are very similar.

4. WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF VU METERING?
The Vus represent a better indication of master output volume than LEDs that are seen on most mixers. LEDs often show a peak rating of output volume rather than a more sensitive display of average output level.

5. WHY ARE THE PMC-400 AND THE PMC-46MK2 SO EXPENSIVE IN COMPARISON TO THE PMC-15MK2,WHICH HAS SIMILAR FEATURES ?
