Doc Martin’s live sets truly bring people together the variation in his style of music is endless. What makes him so different from the rest? A unique ability to spin everything from deep house vocals that have much depth and meaning to us all in some way, his funky tribal Bass lines mixed with threads of acid, his passive collection of classics rare records that are only to be heard at his gigs.
Doc Martin has developed the respect as a house DJ that so many of us admire It is this respect that keeps him constantly touring, from New York to London, Japan and everywhere in between. Doc Martin and singer Lillia are recognized for their Sublevel Live shows and Underground events in Los Angeles. Together they started the Sublevel record label based out of Los Angeles and have toured Asia, Europe & the US & Canada .
STEVE LORIA
West coast legendary DJ, considered by most as one of the driving forces responsible for the start of the Los Angeles electronic music scene and an integral part in the development of the West Coast house scene as a whole. For the last 19 years Steve has traveled the globe playing along side many of the world’s premier djs in many of the world’s top clubs. Steve has headlined countless of legendary clubs and events such as, Together as One, Bang the Drum, Electric Daisy Carnival, Unlock the House, By the People, The Gathering, and Freedom Festival. His most extraordinary moments include a 5 hour sunrise set overlooking the Pyramids of Teotihuacan in Mexico City, spinning techno-house tunes to a massive crowd inside the Brooklyn Bridge, and who could forget his wicked 4 hour set in the middle of the Nevada Desert, for Desert Move Las Vegas. Steve Loria never stops expanding his sound, embracing the future, and respecting the past. We ask all new jacks and old school heads to join us and celebrate the true spirit of the Los Angeles underground!
TONY POWELL
Tony’s ear and impeccable taste made him appealing to Billboard Magazine and the magazine awarded him a spot as a weekly reporter.
Having such an impressive resume and track record earned Tony spots and rotating residencies at D.Y.M.K, Love & Happiness, Escandalo, and Stereo.
Not only was Tony in demand locally but also out of town promoters beckoned to have him play at their venues.
“The End Up” in San Francisco, “Sauce Box” in Seattle and “The Garage” in Las Vegas
were just a few of his out of town gigs.
Even with a hectic schedule Tony donates his spare time to worthy causes such as the Universal AIDS Project Summer Fest and L.A.’s Gay Pride parade, which he headlined three years in a row.
In August 2003 Tony made his first appearance at Club Deep where resident Marques Wyatt and international talent like Louie Vega, Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries, Danny Krivit and others play to a diverse house audience.
Tony’s debut was a night to remember and his craftsmanship and expertise made Marques notice.
In 2004 Marques asked Tony to hold down the club while he was away at the WMC.
Tony came thru with flying colors, thus earning him more deep performances over the years.
