But seriously, all promoters serve pabst. It's a watered down beer that lets people think they're getting a deal... LOOK HOW CHEAP IT IS!!! but really it's mostly water.
The profit margins on it aren't huge but a venue can sell a shit ton of pabst and it balances out in the end. Promoters will continue to sell pabst regardless of whether the trend has died or not because it's profitable.
Smokinism- The focus of most hipsters right now is on "personal" style or looks. Each person has a look or a personal style that they carry. You can often hear hipsters opining..... "I love your look!"
Plaid shirts are a Williamsburg trying too hard thing at this point. You still see them on hipsters, but only if it conjoins with their "look".
