Jets looked hella sharp today, in all aspects of the game. Except for the uncharacteristic amount of penalties. But a win is a win. COmbined with a Baltimore meltdown and the wildcard is looking good. CHAKA KHAN!

The Jets looked really good today...especially after three weak games. Playoffs are closer in sight. Now the next four games are gonna be tough.

Jets are impressive for a team that poses almost no threat of hitting a big play on offense. They just bash you. I like it.

the severity of J. Abraham's injury is very important information. We'll see...

The schedule is brutal going forward, but they seem to have a stranglehold on the wildcard at the moment, and still in the hunt for the east! Unlikely scenario, but if they take NE out, it could be interesting...

It's not nearly as bad as it could've been. Seattle & St. Louis aren't as tough as I thought they would be. If they could beat either Pitt or NE they're pretty much a lock for the playoffs...

definitely not as brutal as I thought it was going to be earlier on. They should be able to beat Seattle and St. Louis and I even think they can beat Pittsburgh next week. are you guys still going to that game?

the jets have a knack for playing tough teams tough and shitty teams shitty. They definitely CAN beat Pittsburgh. I just hope THEY realize that they can. They almost beat New England up there early this season so it's not impossible to beat the fuckers at home. bring it on.

p.s. I got pics with Pennington, Martin(sporting a red sox cap ), Herm, Lamont Jordan, and Chrebet after the game. they were all class acts. will post them once I get them back.

We will be up in the cut in Heinz field, decked out in Jets green. They way the D is playing, the Pitt game is very winable. Seattle and St. Louis don't scare me as much as they did when I saw the schedule preseason, but they definately aren't cake walks. The formula is in place for a solid run this year. Great D, great running O/O Line and a qb who manages the game properly. Now if they can get their head straight about time management and time out management we should be in for a ride. If we pulled out that browns game we'd be in the hunt for the east still. Fock NE...

LET'S GO STEELERS!!!!!!! Can't wait for next Sunday as I gather with all my Jet fans and watch my Steelers wrap up the AFC North. Should be a great game. Just like the one last night against Jacksonville. Big Ben was quite impressive as their run game was pretty much shut down. He has so much poise and intelligence. Loved the last minute drive. Great stuff!

Bring it on Jet fans, bring it on!

one of the better games I've seen all season. The ebb and flow of that game made it feel like a playoff game. The steelers are playing really well, and being managed really well. I'm heading up the pitt next week for the game. Cant wait. I expect another game like last night, with solid D play and lots of running. Or attempts at running anyways. I think Big Ben's streak ends next sunday. RESPECT THE COCK!

They can get either Indy of SD, depends on how the rest of the season plays out. or they can take the East, and get a bye week 1! Just bet against the jets and for the pats the rest of the season and we'll be fine!

jets schedule to date has been fairly easy - although nothing in the nfl is a given. the last 4 weeks will be great preparation for the playoffs.

this is the last team i'd want to play in the playoffs, they got it all.

herm edwards doesnt get nearly enough credit for his coaching - his teams are rarely flat and play hard - also losing pennington twice in the last 2 years and adjusting. show some love jets fans.

pitt got a bit lucky last night - if i were them i'd want big ben to lose a game just so he stays hungry come playoffs.

but that last drive last night against jacksonville was marino-elway-fouts-esque.

Pitt will get their wish next week, and lose! NE on the other hand, has a fairly cakewalk schedule and will not relenquish the East. Even if we beat them we're a game behind. That browns game sucked the big one...

PS: Skins finally showed some life yesterday. Too bad they can't play the lowly gints every week...

There are Steeler fans everywhere. Last year I was in Denver for the Steelers-Broncos game and there Steelers fans all over the place. It was great. Last night in Jacksonville there were so many there. I love it!

Next week the bars around town at 4p are gonna be packed with Jet and Steeler fans. It's gonna be a great atmosphere. I'm still deciding on where I should get all my friends together to watch. Any suggestions?

I think next week will be just like last night's game. Neither team will be a force running the ball, though the injury to Abraham might play a huge role. Jets D has been a true force in the 2nd half of games. I think they have 5 or 6 games this year without giving up any points in the 2nd half. Another great test for Big Ben. He's passed them all this year so far. I think he'll pass another one next week. Barely, but I think the Steelers win.......

Only two of those games will be tough. Seattle and St. Louis stink. Those are W's for the Jets.

But they will lose the other two for sure...

i think its ok if they dont win the east, although they are keeping the pressure on the pats. in the playoffs you want experience and thats where guys like martin and pennington excel. big ben and brees are first timers to this kind of environment. not saying they'll crash and burn but i wouldnt be surprised if they started real slow in their playoff games. against indy, they can score and move the ball so they will be in it. pats-jets afc title game wouldn't surprise me.

skins looked good yesterday for the first time this year, especially on the ball control lengthy drives of 93 and 91 yards. D has been solid all year. definitely something to build on. for the first time, ramsey didnt show just promise but actually delivered and was the leader he needs to be.

skins in '05!

your logic is flawed in that pennington doesn't exactly have a dozen playoff games under his belt. I still take him over breese and Ben any day though. I think the D is the key here. They jets will go as far as the D will take them. That and the OLine. They are the primary reason CuMar is having the season he's having...

he doesnt need a dozen, he has playoff wins and losses - he's been there unlike the other 2. manning has been there too but that defense is awful so they'll be the game against them. obi-wan brady is the only qb that nobody matches up well against.

true about the d and o-line but thats the case for every team. they match up well against the chargers and steelers bc of the inexperience of the qb in playoff situations. manning can hurt them sure, but they can hurt right back bc of cp.

cp sticks out amongst all the rest - he'll start quicker and be more sure of himself than brees and big ben, and he'll pick apart the colts d.
