#1“All Day I Dream” reveals a music video for Lee Burridge and Matthew Dekay
On July 19th “All Day I Dream” reveals another layer to itself in the form of a beautiful cinematic music video to accompany Für Die Liebe by Lee Burridge and Matthew Dekay. The music video was directed by the duo calling themselves "SO & SO". This marks their directorial debut. Their visual interpretation follows people dancing in their (day) dreams, perfectly capturing the emotional edges of the song and the spirit of the All Day I Dream imprint.
Für Die Liebe introduces a warm sound into the real world that begins to help define the All Day I Dream idea, the brainchild of Lee Burridge and Matthew Dekay. The track is something special. Something else. Bowed strings take you on a journey as the rest of the track gently thunders beneath. It is rich in storytelling and emotion – making a film accompaniment the natural progression. SO & SO have visualized that unique sound, giving long-time enthusiasts a dream they can remember while at the same time expanding the label’s reach to new audiences.
In SO & SO’s visual dreamworld, people move to music during their daytime siesta. Oh, and there’s also a cellist in there. And a cowboy. And some balloons. A simple idea that abounds with richness.
Following a host of successful All Day I Dream parties this summer, the July 22nd event in Los Angeles will be held on the very same rooftop featured in the music video.
