PM - That Is The Issue EP
Phidias Michaelides known as PM grew up in the paradisiacal city of Limassol, Cyprus discovering a deep passion for dance music since early days, it brought him the opportunity to get involved djinn’s since 96′s with by residencies and special guest appearances from small pubs to big clubs nationwide.
Phidias has played alongside well known international names and was one of the first djs in Cyprus that seriously get involved with electronic dance music events. That was just the beginning as a serious of largest events and private parties followed up. He had also residencies and appearances across Greece and in the UK, as well as a radio show under the name ”Sound Impulses” on danceradio.gr during 2007.
Phidias is graduated with BSc (Hons) on Audio & Music Technology (ARU / UK) and HND on Audio Engineering (IEK AKMI / Greece). He is now taking his first steps in the production field while some of his releases have been supported by artists including M.A.N.D.Y, Loco Dice, Magda, Eelke Kleijn and Gare Mat K only to name a few.
Encouraged by the massive support by his fresh techy house style, Phidias Michaelides himself produced such as brilliant ep as That Is The Issue as is, featuring two outstanding pieces of high quality tech house beats over infected bass lines surrounded by mad voices to break up worldwide dance-floors and modern DJ sets.
First on the list, PM delivers a groovy-trippy-modern tool who carry the Ep’s name, bringing with a top notch piece to hypnotize everything around as emblematic tool in the night. Quite interesting message not only musically but spoken one takes us to a suggestive journey of mad spaces.
On the flip side of originals, Phidias himself presents his second ace under the sleeve as Tale Of A Mummy, delivering an unstoppable pace aimed straight for sophisticated DJ sets. Always dynamic and crunchy, PM proves himself as one of the most recognized electronic music producers across Cyprus to watch. For sure exiting news will come.
The remix side features two outstanding talents who are growing up in the international tech house and techno arena as Andrea Casula and Dimitry Liss.
Italian Andrea Casula is flicking the faders with kind of precision calling with attention from industry tastemakers, world top Djs, record labels and the specialized media as his latest releases proves. Now, the Italian producer delivers two useful tools of cutting-edge tech-house grooves built over dynamic techno beats. Here, Andrea improves his studio skills to produce such as amazing pearls aimed straight for any and every dance-floor.
Russian born but Dubai established rising producer Dimitry Liss, is in the focus of important labels currently, proving himself on vinyl and digital releases besides top compilations from the likes of Alex Dolby and Gare Mat K.
Followed by an outstanding release on Progrezo Records recently with massive support, Dimitry Liss is back featuring a sophisticated interpretation for classy deep and techy house Dj sets.
