"A Halloween Masquerade/Costume Party"
On the heels of their conquest of summer outdoor events at PS1, Battery Park, as well as welcoming the Fall season with a LAST CALL for voter registration outdoor benefit concert at Riverbank State Park, The Melting Pot continues their momentum by presenting their inaugural and undoubtedly memorable Halloween Masquerade/Costume Party with a live performance by their featured artist Andrea Grant. Standing at a commanding 6' 1" tall, the original 'PIN-UP POET' is the unlikely combination of striking Amazon woman and blonde bombshell, rubber-clad superhero and cherry-cheeked pin up girl, artist and intellectual. She will be performing with her band, bassist Michael Lee and drummer Kenny Grohowski. Choice dance music selections to be spun by special guest DJ Sal Leone of Deepa and resident DJ Kervyn Mark. If that isn't enough, expect the eye-popping visuals that TMP has become known for. There will be a prizes for the best costume.
