Shouts to the Burning Man/Disorient crew for throwing the most unbelievable breaks party up on their rooftop this past weekend!!! We had a blast bringing the noise and we def plan to whip it up into a frenzy again tomorrow night - no question!!! And what's up with the police for ticketing one of our DJ's on the decks - who f*ck*n signed the rave act???

The Burning Man/Disorient crew thanks the djs for driving us all nuts--awesome, awesome job folks. The police suck--I heard about the citations to the individual djs. I'm sorry guys! We left some cash to help out w/ citation fines.

Jayp~How's the Tipper-Surrounded cd? I have his 1st one, but never bought this one. xlrn8 gave it a good review.
I'd known her for years. We used to go to all the police functions together. Ah, how I loved her, but she had her music. I think she had her music. She'd hang out with the Chicago Male Chorus and Symphony. I don't recall her playing an instrument or being able to carry a tune. Yet she was on the road 300 days of the year. In fact, I bought her a harp for Christmas. She asked me what it was.

TOTALLY different from the first 2. if you have access to a home theater system it's really essential listening. just pop the dvd into your player and sit in the room and let the 5.1 madness wash over you. it's a downtempo cd though, not beats. seriously though coupled with the dvd visuals and the high end sound it's a must buy. the cd version is good but the dvd-audio version is really where it shines cuz u cant do surround sound on a regular cd.


btw tipper'll be on around 1:15, immediately following SOTEG

Is it melodic breaks? or completely downtempo? can you describe the sound at all....the downtempo thing threw me.

its not downtempo like OM lounge stuff...

its like a cross between hiphop speed beats, with weird dark basslines, electro minded hi-hats, and glitchy sounds...somewhat of an industrial feel to his stuff as well
