The Return of DJ ALI!! 9/16/05 @ Sullivan Room
Sofa King & Justin R would proudly like to invite you to join us, Friday September 16th as this promises to be another night of tech - soul mayhem as Vancouver’s number one wild child DJ Ali (Classic / Visitor / Manali) returns to Sullivan Room. Ali has released dozens of brilliant 12” on labels including Classic, Totem, Nightshift, and most recently Rescue. A world renowned DJ as well, Ali has traveled the globe playing all over Europe and North America, but Sullivan Room remains one of his favorite venues. He rocked the place until the wee hours in April, leaving the crowd in awe with his characteristic blend of deep, techy and acid house, sprinkled with a touch of soul. Expect nothing less this time around.
Warming things up with a smooth blend of deep, funky, electronic infused house will be local favorites, Eric Andrew(sofakingnyc.com), Stadenco(housework), and Homegrown's own Bogdan!
We will also be celebrating the birthdays of two quintessential Virgos, Eric Andrew and Catherine Jade, with 2 for 1 drinks from 9-midnight.
$5 before midnight on list. RSVP to sofakingnyc@hotmail.com for $5 admission before midnight!! $15/10 after midnight with flyer or RSVP .
