Unread Sunday, Sep 18th 2005, 10:44 AM #1 Carl Cox at Loveparade SF, North American Bus Tour & 'Second Sign' Artist Album
Mark your calendars and get ready, the legendary Carl Cox is set to launch a North America bus tour. It will begin in San Diego and traverse throughout North American urban centers and festivals including the Loveparade San Francisco (www.loveparadesf,org), Crobar in New York & Miami, and all places in between. Breakbeat mavens Evil Nine will be touring with Carl on the first leg until Vancouver, where they hand the bus seats over to Loco Dice. Loco will take the wheel through Philly, switching over to Mark Lewis for the remainder of the tour.

Carl Cox’s unwavering popularity around the world has been proven time and time again by the crowds that flock to hear the master work the tables as only he can. When music magazines print their end of year polls, it's Carl Cox who tops them and he has the stature to back it up. He brings a raw energy that carries into all of his performances and productions, and the love he has for a good tune is never lost on him nor his audience. From his enthusiastic bob of the head to the thrust of one finger shot high in the air at the moment a track drops it’s bass line, to the sweat pouring down his famously bald head, this man loves nothing more than to perform for those that matter, the people who come to see him play.

NEW ARTIST ALBUM “SECOND SIGN” ANNOUNCED

Carl’s highly anticipated third artist album ‘Second Sign’ is scheduled to release next year. Two years in the making and collaborations comprised of a long list of amazing musicians including FatBoy Slim and Misstress Barbara, this album is well worth the wait. “I’ve been working with Roni Size, Josh Wink, Saffron from Republica and Onallee of Reprazents. There’s drum & bass, punk, house; it’s got a real festival sound to it. Of all my three albums, this is the one I’m most happy with.” - Carl Cox Set to release early 2006 on the Koch label.
