Has anyone tried this? How effective is it? Is it difficult to mix using CDJs and time coded CDs?

I think a software / CDJ solution would be absolutely perfect. If someone could just implement a CDJ / software interface that was 100% compliant (FireWire hard drive connected to the CDJ or something. That would be pretty slick.
Music is merely just a suggestion. The rest is all up to you.

I'm sure the wave display won't work. Not sure about the hot cues, though.

This begs the question - why not TTs and the software?
