SOOOO i went to check out my new friend DJ Kai .. who was spinning at Movida .. last Thursday 10/27 .. and he was AWESOMEEEEEEEE

i heard DJ Kai before few months ago and he was playing trance music at some club and he was doing some good shit on the turn tables

i am very impressed with this dude .. and i had to give him a shout out ... the fact that someone plays so many different styles (tribal, funk, electro and trance) is, in my opinion, pretty good of a dj ... and while specializing in a genre is also great for the lover of that genre .. i think that being diversified takes a skill

and while i am afraid i dont do this talented dj justice here .. i would like to invite you people to check out his web site http://www.chrisandkai.com/ ... i know that he is partner with dj Chris ..and that they played in different venues .. like Crobar, cellar room, table 40, movida, and sullivan room ..

honestly i dont know much about dj Chris ..and i am sure he is good dj if he partner with Kai ...

one last thing .... this place Movida (28 7th Ave South. @ Leroy & Bedford) rocks ... i loved the lights, the decor and the space .. i gotta go check it out on weekends or something ..

Everybody round these parts sould knw who KAI is been a fan for a while now, and hes a good dancer as well.Glad your catching on MASK. And the most diverse dj is still FRANCOIS K at cielo mon nights.

dude .. i am slowly recovering .. and i emphasize slooooowwwwllllyyyy ... coz i have been dancing since day 5 of the operation ... sucks .. cant seem to stop in spite of all the pain ...

Francios k is great ... and Kai is awesome .. and i forgot to say that Kai is also a modest, nice person to deal with .. and that is a great quality for someone who is good ..

i think the buttons on the coffee machine have directly helped make me a better dj (STEADY HEANDS...!!)

in anycase, thank you to those who are taking time out to write something about me. I appreciate it alot and its nice to know someone is listening.

for those that are interested I've got a few new tracks coming out. Keep your eyes open for my remix of Medway - Resurrection forthcoming on Release Grooves. Also got a house-vocal crossover type tune coming out on Nebula/Skyline this summer.

Me, Raji, Drew, and the Alterimage guys had a great night at Movida and I look forward to many more.

just to set the record straight, Chris and I don't really DJ together anymore. We're still the best of friends and will probably work on another collboration in the future but we're not actively doing the "chris and kai" project anymore.

I'm doing records on the solo tip right now after taking a few months break from the studio. As Brandie pointed out you can keep up to date at my website, DJ Kai

at Movida I played with Raji (whom some of you may know) and we toured Asia this past summer. we're working together on more events and projects in the near future which I'm quite excited about.
We hope to see some you guys out at our events again soon!
