I have tried to research this on the internet.....but can anyone tell me if there is a windows-based Logic pro audio out there??? I mean the pro7.1 or later.....or do I have to go out and switch to Mac???

after 5 they stopped making it for pc.

Apple bought Emagic, the company that made Logic, so there's currently no PC version of the program being developed, as far as i know.

There's some good options for PC though. Cubase is good, though I still think Pro Tools is the best software for music production.

As mentioned you cant get Logic Audio for PC now, but Reason V3 is excellent as is Logic Audio Platinum V5.10 if you REALLY want to use it.
If you still want to use V7.xx then use VMWare and load it in that way
