She's cute..Nothing mind blowing but I'd rather hear
Morcheeba-esque influenced pop on MTV than some of
the crap that's coming out lately.

That record scene in the video makes my eyes tear up
though...

Best thing American Pop's got going are Prince and Madonna
and I don't even think Madonna considers herself American
what with the stupid British accent and all..

btw: I heard Prince is doing the Super Bowl this year..
AWESOME!!!

That describes:
a. both songs, and
b. pop music

Madonna and Prince are not comparable to these pop tarts.

But that's all a question of what type of cheese you prefer. Aunt cunty you cheesy whore. (psst--I like her other songs too. shhh don't tell anyone.)

who's talking about POP icons (and you forgot MJ)?

We all have our preferences. I prefer my cheese melted over a hamburger...consumed while watching the KC video.

Yea I've heard other chill downtempo mixes around as well..
The dub and ska-like quality with her voice works really
well..again nothing new but I'll take that sort of sound
over 95% of the crap that's passing as "pop" these days.

Her live shows are supposed to be really good as well..
A friend of mine caught her in Amsterdam and told me she's
amazing...Let's see how long she lasts. It'll be interesting
to see if she's just another Urban Outfitters cultural trend of
the month or actually manages to grow with a few more albums.

This my favorite video(and song of hers) I love the intro
of her at the record store.. The words are also pretty
funny...

*Really diggin this Brit..

Really? I think they're funny. I actually feel like that last video
when I walk around some parts of town..i-pod blasting some happy tunes
as the sun shines rainbows off of vomit next to a passed out bum..
ahhh rainbows are so beautiful.

Here's another:

And her LIVE (Love the "live" horns..very old school ska-moorcheeba-esque.)

Me likey
