finally
I'd known her for years. We used to go to all the police functions together. Ah, how I loved her, but she had her music. I think she had her music. She'd hang out with the Chicago Male Chorus and Symphony. I don't recall her playing an instrument or being able to carry a tune. Yet she was on the road 300 days of the year. In fact, I bought her a harp for Christmas. She asked me what it was.

I'm pretty sure it was on the Alcachofa (sp?) LP on Cadenza. I've enjoyed a lot of his DJ mixes, but very few of his tracks, and I can't say I find this exciting for his long awaited Fabric mix, too bad it likely won't showcase the energy levels of his DJ sets.

Uhm, Villabobo usually plays many of his own edits in DJ sets. Like for example the 40 min long Fizheuer Zieheuer he put out (http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=24178). I am sure you've heard many of the cuts on this cd in his numerous DJ sets floating on the web.

To clarify, Alcachofa is on Playhouse, not Cadenza.

Taimur, do you have a release date on this comp?

ah, so it works on many levels. i was just thinking of a pair of pants dipped in a bucket of cement, but who knew, it's actually more nuanced. neat.

optimo used fiz hiz brilliantly in their essential mix, the tune reminds a little of miles davis from his sketches of spain era... as for fabric 36, it gives a new definition to 'live set', excellent stuff, really original

john digweed was fabric 20.
did the sellout occur before or after that release ?

i actually really enjoy the majority of the fabric releases.
much better than the global underground stuff.
i'd say they are by far the most reliable as far as keeping it real goes.
