Turntables on the Hudson 10 Year Anniversary Weekend!!
Has it been that long since we started our first parties on the River under the Sun Moon & Stars?? In celebration, we invited some of our favorite local guests from over the years- the fam who've been down since day 1!!! We're so grateful for having such a good following of open minded people with great vibes & dancefloor readiness. We plan on keeping the tradition alive throughout the Summer @ Water Taxi Beach Fridays & various special locations throughout the City & the World. FRIDAY May 23rd & SUNDAY May 25th, we're celebrating 10 Years of Music, Dance, Culture & GOOD TIMES with an all-star lineup of DJ's from the crew who been down with us since day 1... we're missing a few key people but we'll be celebrating every Friday all Summer long featuring guests & sounds from over the years!!
All takes place at Water Taxi Beach, LIC Queens #2 Borden Avenue (Hunters Point stop on the Water Taxi) right on the Hudson "EAST" River in Queens!
*Friday, May 23rd from 8PM - 2AM: DJ's Busquelo (8 - 10), Chris Annibell (10-11), Nickodemus & Mariano (11-1), Sabo (1-2) + Nappy G (timbales/ MC), Christian Rogers (congas), Alex (bongos) & Amon (djembe & treats), Zeb (oud & guitar)
*Sunday, May 25th from 3PM - 2AM: DJ's Eddy Plenty (3 - 4), DRM (4 - 5), Raeo (5 - 6), Cato (6 - 7), Rich Medina (7 - 8), Sujinho (8 -9), The Pimps of Joytime LIVE (9 - 10), Smash (10 - 11), Jeannie Hopper (11 - 12), Nickodemus & Mariano (12 - 2)
$10 to enter- we have a very different arrangement from the past 10 years running parties... different security, different door people, different door splits etc... so the guest list will be very limited this year & please don't forget your ID's- although we'd love to keep the tradition of answering our phones during our set & going to the door to get you, we can't come out & get you in at Water Taxi Beach! Bring ID & if you're not on the limited guest list, please support & we'll get you another time or at another location.
We're still not 100% certain on their Memorial Weekend Schedule, so if you plan on using the Water Taxi, please inquire within. Check for the Hunter's Point stop. They are quick in & quick out of port, so be ready!!

About Turntables on the Hudson
Since 1998, Turntables on the Hudson consists primarily of DJs Nickodemus & Mariano + percussionist Nappy G. Alongside a big family of musicians and DJs, hand picked venues & dancing party people, they have brought the vibe to the Frying Pan and the pier, the Chelsea Piers, the Brooklyn loft, Opaline, Shelter, Cielo, Element, SOB’s, Spiegelworld, and dancefloors across the U.S., Asia, Europe and Latin America. Building a loyal following one dancer at a time, they have made a commitment to moving people’s bodies while at the same time, opening their minds and exposing them to artists & sounds from every part of the World. The parties are are every Friday in the Spring & Summer, and on a monthly basis in the Fall & Winter. Please check back for our various locations throughout the city and our tour schedule. Turntables on the Hudson has SIX volumes of Music that were made by members of the crew & from friends here and abroad. Artists such as Zeb, Nickodemus, Mariano, Nappy G, Quantic, Sabo, Local 12, Marzebian, Jean Shepherd, Jay Rogriguez & Groove Collective are frequent contributors to the TOTH sound! Volumes 1 & 2 are out of print, but the rest can be found at WONDERWHEEL Recordings Store.
