Known by MixMag Update as "The Yoda of Techno..." Murf has promoted, sold, recorded, played, collected, reviewed and breathed music for the last twenty years. He has been both a resident and a guest in clubs and events worldwide playing his unique brand of electronic music. He has also recorded several mix CD's both here in europe and asia including the first CD for Eukahouse's "Tech House Phenomena" series.

Murf has worked at numerous record stores over the years, shops like Groove (the original sister shop to the New York store), Zoom, Koobla and Silverfish (now Eukatech), he also opened his own shop; Instant Quality aka I.Q. Records in London's Soho district.

He regards himself as a music collector who has been lucky enough to travel all over the globe sharing his knowledge, passion and love for his immense record collection through his many years both as a club and radio DJ. Murf has taken a sabbitcal from the DJ circuit since ending his long standing resident slots at Edinburgh's Subtle Logic and The End's flagship party Sub Terrain (where his and Mr C's now infamous 4hr sessions were witnessed every month) until mid 2000,
Murf is currently busy twiddling knobs whilst studying a course in Acoustic Engineering. You can sometimes catch Murf behind the counter at Brighton's vinyl emporium, Covert Records and even the rare appearance DJing at Junk or Technology parties.
