I'm pretty sure that this is the first year in my life that the Lions have a better chance of winning a championship than the University of Michigan. Not sure what to do with that.

The Bears desperately needed defense and an entire offensive line, more or less. Unfortunately having lost their first 2 round picks for Cutler the previous year we've had a bit of trouble.

Still, looking at the schedule I'd say they'd be doing ok to finish 8-8 but 9-7 and possibly even 10-6 is possible. Lol.

Bears brought in one of the best OL coaches in the biz and Peppers, and Urlacher returns from an injury that will not effect him this year... if Cutler + Martz works the Bears are valuetown in 2010.

Peppers was a nice addition but as far as my amateur eye could make out last season there was a major issue with the safeties. They also brought in Corey Wootton who looked like a solid D-line prospect as far as I could make out (watched an amount of Northwestern games due to spending a fair amount of time in the Chicago area).

We didn't bring in any veteran safeties just drafted Major Wright from Florida with our first pick (number 75 overall - lol Jay Cutler trade). Could be wrong there though, obviously.

I think the Vikes had their one chance and it was last year. The Pack with Aaron Rodgers are looking at a playoff caliber team for the next 8-9 years.
