I'm pretty sure that this is the first year in my life that the Lions have a better chance of winning a championship than the University of Michigan. Not sure what to do with that.
Keepin' it over 30.

I will be running a suicide pool, if anyone is game, low entry fee, but potentially loads of punters...

Wide open year. First time in a while where there's no where near a dominant team.

The Saints? no

Vikings? no

Steelers, Pats, and Colts all aging...

Should be a good one!

The Bears desperately needed defense and an entire offensive line, more or less. Unfortunately having lost their first 2 round picks for Cutler the previous year we've had a bit of trouble.

Still, looking at the schedule I'd say they'd be doing ok to finish 8-8 but 9-7 and possibly even 10-6 is possible. Lol.

Michigan's chances are lower than .002%?

Bears brought in one of the best OL coaches in the biz and Peppers, and Urlacher returns from an injury that will not effect him this year... if Cutler + Martz works the Bears are valuetown in 2010.

Who's running the Ism Fantasy League this year?

I might consider it if everyone signs a waiver giving me full indemnification.

Bigger rookie impact this year: Ryan Mathews or Ben Tate?

That's a pretty big "if" though, right?

Peppers was a nice addition but as far as my amateur eye could make out last season there was a major issue with the safeties. They also brought in Corey Wootton who looked like a solid D-line prospect as far as I could make out (watched an amount of Northwestern games due to spending a fair amount of time in the Chicago area).

We didn't bring in any veteran safeties just drafted Major Wright from Florida with our first pick (number 75 overall - lol Jay Cutler trade). Could be wrong there though, obviously.

It's great to see that the Packers and their fans are getting the last laugh.

The Vikings disgust me. They've always been a dirty team and their fans are garbage.

That may be true but he did kind of fuck the Vikings amongst G.B and the Jets. He could have retired early on and given the Vikings a chance to get a decent Qb like McNabb. Ah well, fuck him and the Vikes... I hope G.B makes it to the Superbowl and wins unless it's against the Jets of-course.

I think the Vikes had their one chance and it was last year. The Pack with Aaron Rodgers are looking at a playoff caliber team for the next 8-9 years.

Who do the Vikings have? Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfelds?

Awful

I will play if the buy in is $100+.

I will also help set things up but I won't be commissioner.

Broncos lose Elvis Dumervil for season...ouch that one has to hurt.
I'd known her for years. We used to go to all the police functions together. Ah, how I loved her, but she had her music. I think she had her music. She'd hang out with the Chicago Male Chorus and Symphony. I don't recall her playing an instrument or being able to carry a tune. Yet she was on the road 300 days of the year. In fact, I bought her a harp for Christmas. She asked me what it was.

yeah, really bad injury imo. they can't afford that.

NFL football on TV tonight. and every Sunday from here to February.

i usually could care less about HOF weekend, but the induction of Rice and Emmitt is like Ruth and Gehrig going in. Emmitt's speech was awesome.

FOOTBALL!

I'm in a keeper league and can only keep one WR.

Wes Welker (recovering a bad injury)
or
DeSean Jackson (Don't know much about Kevin Kolb)?

when do you have to make this decision?

i'd want to see Welker play. he's quite badass (if truly back) in PPR formats.
