- Description
- Always friendly, this coffee shop is also a store featuring records, CDs, antiques, food and drinks in a relaxed environment. The music section of new and used CDs and Vinyl occupy the back area. There is a DJ booth and open DJing on Saturday mornings into the evenings. The decor is modern 50's retro. ALL the items there are for sale. There is usually an artists work hanging up as well near the DJ booth for sale.
Depending on the day there are different DJs playing and guest appearances do happen. Check their website for the latest in what's going on in there and when. The shows at night tend to pack the place. There are several bars and amazing restaurants all around Halcyon so you can make a day of it.
Yes you can get beer and wine but no smoking is allowed inside. They do have a back outdoor area that is open in nice weather. It can get crowded and the environment is not so much dance friendly as chillin with some friends over a beer or coffee. The music area has a interesting array of music with several listening stations. The staff is more than ready to help out if you need it and can special order stuff as well. It is a little off the beaten path so you may find a few gems in the record bins. - Sound System
